71. Python Program to Build a Seat List with + and *

MediumLists

Overview

Use * to repeat a list and + to join two lists.

Problem Statement

A small cinema has two rows. Read the number of seats in row A, then the number of seats in row B (whole numbers). Make row A as a list of that many "A" items, and row B as a list of that many "B" items. Join them into one list called hall, print it, then print how many seats there are in total. For example, for 2 and 3:

['A', 'A', 'B', 'B', 'B']
Seats: 5

Use input() with no prompt text: the tests type the input for you, and a prompt would end up in your output.

Input

One value per line, in this order. Example:

2
3

Output

The output for that example:

['A', 'A', 'B', 'B', 'B']
Seats: 5

The tests try 4 different inputs.
